Lead Pastor
Pastor & Susie
Pastor Tim Lanier is a DMin graduate of Erskine Theological Seminary in Due West, South Carolina. He has been in pastoral ministry for over forty years. Since 2011, he has also served as an adjunct professor with Lee University.
As a singer/songwriter, he has released four CDs of original music. At times, his writing also takes the form of short stories and poems. His book, Selah Stuff, was published in the Fall of 2023 by Covenant Books.
Susie is his partner in life and ministry. The Lord knitted them together in 1982, and it seems like she’s been doing all the knitting ever since. Pastor Lanier enjoys old-time radio shows, British mystery novels, and blooper reels. He has served College Park Church since January of 2009.
Worship Pastor
Pastor Mike & Angie
Mike and Angie Rickles met in the music department at UAH in 1988 and have been organizing the music ministry in their church ever since. After receiving her bachelor in Piano Performance and his minor in Music they married in 1990 and found their way to College Park Church in 1998 with two children in tow.
Whether large choirs, small ensembles, instrumentals from the band, children’s choirs or solos they encourage everyone to give their best. The message is over 2000 years old but every week it is told through music with a fresh, creative approach.
Mike and Angie enjoy spending time outdoors with their family, as well as their cat Lewis and dog Clark.
Youth & Children's Pastor
Pastor Josh & Krista
Pastor Josh is a graduate from Lee University where he studied Pastoral Ministries and met his wife Krista, who graduated in Educational Studies.After a successful career at Blockbuster and forcing that company's closure, Josh moved on to to Youth Ministry and began his professional ministry at College Park.
Pastor Josh and Krista have 5 beautiful children who are active in the church youth group and ministries. In his free time, Josh enjoys watching movies with his children, collecting action figures, and playing hockey.
Connections Pastor
Pastor Jonathan & Leslie
Pastor Jonathan has a degree in Cybersecurity from UAH and Pastoral Ministry from Lee University. Jonathan serves all members of the church through event planning, social media, and messaging, as well as leads the College, Career, and Families Small Group.
Jonathan and his wife Leslie have 4 precious children who have grown up at College Park and enjoy the Youth and Children's ministries. Jonathan enjoys being a dad, playing video games, drumming, and reading fantasy and self-help books.
